Craig Smith, publisher and founder of EuropaProperty, the leading commercial real estate media firm which organises the SEE Real Estate Awards Gala & Forum in Bucharest, the CEE Retail Awards Gala & Forum and the CEE Investment & Green Building Awards as well as several other high-impact events and conferences throughout the region, remarks: “Once again I am excited to welcome everyone to our 9th annual SEE Real Estate Awards. It pleases me greatly that even in these more challenging times we have received so many nominations. The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior level European or Central European directors which affirms the SEE Real Estate Awards as a true industry landmark event.”

Market leaders in both activity and pure investment will compete for “Project of the Year” awards in the office, retail and residential sectors. Projects are rated according to quality of design, building efficiency, quality of construction, quality of location, environmental concerns, and commercial success.

“Company of the Year” awards will be presented to the leading office, retail, industrial and residential developers, as well as the leading office, retail, industrial and residential consultant/letting agents. Other awards will be presented to the best investor, bank, professional service provider, project management, property management, law firm and architectural firm in Southeastern Europe for activities and accomplishments during 2013. Companies are judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.

Further, “Retailer of the Year” awards will be given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success. Retailer nominations are still being accepted.

Awards will also be given for “Overall Retailer of the Year”, “Overall Project of the Year” and “Overall Company of the Year” in addition to Overall Professional of the Year. Nominations for “Overall Professional of the Year” are still being accepted.
